How often should we remove the sludge?
Depends on the facility. We have customers that remove the sludge weekly and we have customers that remove the sludge monthly.
Will we receive a violation for not cleaning our pits and traps?
Yes! It is very important to clean the traps and pits on a regular basis. Failure to do so would result in this sludge entering the discharge pipes of the car wash and would put the car wash in violation of the local municipal sanitary discharge limitations.
How many gallons of water does your Vacuum Truck hold?
Our fleet of Vacuum Trucks range in size from 450 gallons to 4000 gallons.
Where does the waste go?
The waste is transported to a licensed EPA facility where it is cleaned, tested and recycled.
Can we still use the Car Wash during sludge extraction?
In most cases yes.
Will removing the sludge remove the strong odor?
Yes, in most cases it will.
